Send a transmission

Report a bug, ask for help, or just tell us how the drift is treating you. Sending opens a pre-filled message in your own mail app; nothing is collected by this website.

Tip: a screenshot or screen recording attached to the email helps a lot.

This form composes an email to support@orbitalanvil.com in your own mail app; you can review it before sending. No data is submitted to, or stored by, this website.

Flight manual

Starforge Drift — controls

  • iPhone / iPad: drag in the left zone to move, hold the right zone for the pulse cannon, quick-stroke left in the pulse zone for the shockwave. Touch layout, scale, opacity, and sensitivity are adjustable in Settings.
  • Mac: W/A/S/D or arrow keys move, Space fires, Shift triggers the shockwave, Escape pauses. All bindings are configurable in Settings.
  • Apple TV / controllers: left stick or D-pad moves, the primary face button fires, the secondary face button triggers the shockwave, Menu pauses. Controllers can connect before or during play.

Troubleshooting

A connected controller is not responding

Confirm it is paired in the system Bluetooth settings, then return to the game — controllers are discovered automatically, including mid-run.

The picture flashes or shakes too much

The Settings screen has independent controls for flashes, shake, glow, and projectile contrast — turn any of them down without affecting the rest.

Touch controls feel too sensitive or too small

Adjust sensitivity, dead zone, layout, scale, and opacity under Settings > Controls. Auto-fire is also available.

Audio is missing

Check the in-game audio sliders first, then the device volume and mute switch. On Apple TV, verify the audio output device in the system settings.

My progress disappeared

Progression is stored locally on each device; deleting the app can remove it. There is no Orbital Anvil account system, so progress does not sync between devices. Game Center entries, where offered, are tied to your Apple ID.

Ads still show after I bought ad removal

Make sure the device is signed in with the same Apple ID that made the purchase, then use Restore Purchases in the game's settings. This also applies after reinstalling or moving to a new device. If ads persist, email us with your platform and rough purchase date.

Game Center features are not working

Sign in to Game Center in the device's system settings (Settings > Game Center), then relaunch the game. Game Center is optional; the game is fully playable without it.

Performance dips on Mac

Try a smaller window scale from the Drift Display menu, or close other GPU-heavy applications.

Purchases and refunds

All purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. The one-time ad-removal purchase is tied to your Apple ID — use Restore Purchases in the game's settings after reinstalling or switching devices. To request a refund, use Apple's Report a Problem page or contact Apple Support — developers cannot issue App Store refunds directly.

Privacy

Gameplay is fully offline and Orbital Anvil itself collects no personal data. The free version shows ads from a third-party provider, and purchases and Game Center are handled by Apple — see the privacy policies for details.
